New research has uncovered the age at which we're typically able to differentiate types of wines.
According to a study conducted by Jordan Winery, that age is 29.
Millennials can name the most varieties of wine, with the average American being able to name at least 4. The most common first answer? Zinfandel.
The research also tells us that a majority of Americans want their wine to be smooth, fruity, or sweet, versus semi-sweet or crisp.
