Don't get me wrong here. I'm all in for this cover. I think it's awesome. And I love the story of how it came to be, a fan led-year long campagin.
One small gripe though.....if you're going to embrace, or at least give in, to the trolls and pressures and actually record the song......have it become your biggest hit in years and then agree to be on Jimmy Kimmel......can't ya learn the lyrics?!
OR....go with me on this.....OR....is Rivers Cuomo playing into it all and reading the lyrics on purpose?! LOL. Just to be like that!?
