There's one popular patio bar patrons won't get to enjoy this season: Uptown's Bar Louie closed its doors suddenly this week.
According to Eater Twin Cities via City Pages, it's confirmed that Bar Louie's last day was Tuesday. The franchise's employees learned that same day that it would be their last day.
Bar Louie The Chain is one of the 20 fastest-growing private restaurants in the Barclays Capital 2017 industry report, according to City Pages. Maybe this gives us hope that someone else will open up a new franchise location in the Twin Cities?
