Our Minnesota Nice mentality is showing up in new statistics compared with America's most aggressive drivers.
A study from Gasbuddy.com says Minnesota ranks at number 39 in regard to aggressive driving behaviors like speeding, rapid acceleration, and hard braking. California has the most aggressive drivers, followed by Connecticut, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Kentucky, and Arizona.
The Star Tribune reports the purpose of this study was to demonstrate how the aforementioned aggressive driving behaviors can cost drivers more at the fuel pump. With gas prices expected to rise this summer, being aware of how we're driving can potentially pay off.
