Minnesota's 'Killer Grandma' Caught in Texas

For the last month, the hunt has been on for 56-year-old Lois Riess of Blooming Prairie where she is accused of shooting and killing her husband. Two weeks later, Florida police say she shot 59-year-old Pamela Hutchinson in Fort Meyers Beach, WCCO-TV reports.

Riess was captured Thursday night in South Padre Island, Texas, about 30 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border, after law enforcement received a tip from a restaurant worker.

Not only was Riess nicknamed "Killer Grandma," but was also known as "Losing Streak Lois" by authorities due to her gambling habit.
