Minnesotans have spoken as to what their favorite jelly bean flavor is.
According to a jelly bean poll by CandyStore.com via Today, Minnesota's favorite flavor is black licorice, which is also the second most-popular jelly bean flavor in the country. The most popular flavor is buttered popcorn, which sounds way more appetizing, in my opinion.
I've never personally been a fan of black licorice, so all I can honestly say in response is, "Eww," and #NotMyBean. I think toasted marshmallow is much more suitable because it makes me think of nights at the cabin, roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores by the lake! The nostalgia is so yummy.
The top 10 favorite jelly bean flavors in the country are as follows:
- Buttered popcorn
- Black licorice
- Cinnamon
- Watermelon
- Cherry
- Pear/Juicy pear
- Orange
- Green apple
- Toasted marshmallow
- Coconut
Neighboring state Wisconsin's favorite flavor is watermelon, while South Dakota enjoyed strawberry the most. Iowa loves cherry, and North Dakota also faved black licorice.
