Amarri could tell the man was absolutely heartbroken as TSA forced him to throw the package in the garbage. Her boyfriend picked it out of the trash can without any clue as to what it was. Not only that, the couple also took the package home.
Inside, they found a liquid-filled snow globe with a photo at the center of the glass orb. There was a picture of a little girl on one side and a snapshot of an elderly couple on the other. Under the little girl’s picture was an engraved message: “We love you Katie, Nana and Papa 1/25/16″
Amarri posted a photo of the treasured snow globe on Facebook, hoping to reunite it with the man who thought it was gone forever. Within a week, her post went viral with more than 40,000 shares.
