Chris Pratt Apologizes to the Hearing Impaired Community.

Is Chris Pratt on the 2017 apology tour? Less than two weeks after he apologized for saying that his blue collar upbringing wasn’t represented on the big screen, he now has to say sorry to the hearing impaired community.

In case you missed it, Mr. Anna Faris shared a video in which he requested people listen with high volume instead of reading subtitles. He faced backlash for not being sensitive to those with hearing disabilities. Now he’s shared a new video on The ‘Gram to apologize for his mistake. But what made it epic is the fact that he used sign language to get his message across, which you can see on the right.

Chris also hit back at the naysayers who thought that his publicist made him do it. He said, “I control my social media. Nobody else. And I am doing this because I'm actually really sorry. Apologies are powerful. I don't dole them out Willy-Nilly. This is one of those moments where I screwed up and here's me begging your pardon. I hope you accept my apology.”

  • ONE MORE THING! The “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” star also took the time to implore Instagram to include an option for closed captioning for the hearing impaired. He said, “I've made them lord knows how much money with my videos and pictures. Essentially sharing myself for free. I know they profit. So... GET ON IT INSTAGRAM!!! Put closed captioning on your app.”
