First and foremost.......THANK YOU for all your thoughtful responses.
Our daughter, Elsie (now 4) has always been a part of my radio show. I've talked and shared so much of her life, thus we've always felt so much love for her. Your all a part of her life and we're feelin that again with all these posts.
I want to make one thing clear, we're very much working in partnership with our pediatrician on this and no one is concerned. No one is freakin out, pullin their hair out, worried that won't ever happen. Would just love to get it figured out sooner than later, ya know?
The ONLY concern I have is that maybe she can't feel when she needs to go. Hopefully that's not the case.
SO......here are some of your responses that I felt were quite helpful. If you or someone you know is struggling, please share this with them. You never know what might help.
Yeah, we've reminded ourselves of that multiple times.....that there aren't many adults on the planet that aren't potty trained. We are getting a little impatient though. These tips are good reminders.
Carolyn, this sounds like it's a possibility in our case. Perhaps I'll try this and be more patient. Thanks!
I like the idea, just hope we don't need to buy a new toilet!
Again, thanks for ALL the suggestions. SO appreciated. See the entire conversation HERE
