The Youngest Spelling Bee Champ Is Only 5 Years Old!

A shy five-year-old girl is now the youngest spelling bee champ ever. Edith Fuller won the regional contest In Tulsa, Oklahoma, over the weekend and is now heading to the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

She beat out 50 other kids, some as old as 15, to take the crown. She spelled every difficult word like "Croesus" and "Jnana" correctly through ten rounds.

Later this year, she'll go up against nearly 300 regional winners when The National Spelling Bee gets underway.
