Shannen decided to reveal to her fans, today that her breast cancer is back and that it is stage 4. She was first diagnosed back in 2015 and went into remission in 2017. The cancer has now returned. Doherty said, "I don't think that I've processed it. It's a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways." Shannen was of course known for playing Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills 90210. This is another sad blow to the 90210 cast as Luke Perry, also known for his role on the hit show, passed away from a stroke a little less than a year ago. People is reporting that "throughout her medical journey, the star kept fans updated with her experiences and progress, but with this news, Doherty said she initially tried to keep it somewhat private."
