Historic Minnesota Fire Tower Lets You See Fall Colors From Bird's Eye View

If you're looking for a super unique and beautiful way to experience Minnesota's fall colors, this historic 100-foot-tall fire tower is it.

One of the top attractions at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park is the fire tower that was moved to the park in 1981 where you can climb all the way to the top and check out miles of gorgeous fall foliage.

The tower is located on top of one of the highest hills on the Mille Lacs Moraine glacial ridge that forms the natural dam holding Mille Lacs Lake.

OnlyInYourState.com took some really pretty photos from the observation deck. Check out more here, and learn about the other attractions you can see at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park here.
