In a bit of a bizarre TV interview in Los Angeles, former MN governor and wrestling star Jesse Ventura said he would consider running for president in 2020 as an independent.
Ventura, 68, said he wouldn’t decide until it was down to two candidates and after he spends the next three months “off the grid” in Mexico.
If he entered the race, two of Ventura's biggest issues would be the legalization of marijuana and climate change. He said he would end the wars in the Middle East and instead "start a war on the climate and a war on pollution."
