A disabled writer has defiantly posted a string of smiling selfies online after cruel Twitter trolls told her she was 'too ugly' to take pictures of herself.
Melissa Blake, 38, from Illinois, said she has been consistently subjected to abusive comments online, with one troll once saying she looked like a 'blob fish'.
Blake, who writes a blog called So About What I Said, then revealed that trolls had told her last month that she 'should be banned from posting selfies because I'm too ugly.'
However, after posting three selfies on her Twitter on Sunday, Blake said that she was stunned by the positive reaction, after more than 104,000 people liked her images.
