Men Say "No More Kids" After Realizing Parenting Is REALLY Tough

Men in a recent study out of Spain who took advantage of the country's paternity leave system are shown to be less likely to have more children in the future.

According to the Daily Mail, Spain has had this paternity leave policy in place since 2007. Economists analyzed the findings and learned that the men who initially took paternity leave were between 7-15% less likely to have more children than the men who didn't take paternity leave.

Experts believe that spending more time with their children during paternity leave made the men more aware of the work and effort involved in bringing up offspring, arguing that the program "shifted their preferences from child quantity to quality."
