Most of the snow is gone and all that's left across the southern half of Minnesota are a couple of inches where less sun shines and the big piles built up by shovels and plows.
But the spring melt will continue this weekend, and outside of rising rivers presenting concerns for flood-prone areas, it'll be the first weekend with temps in the 50s since the weekend of Oct. 27-28, which was nearly 150 days ago.
