Family's Foul Body Odor Gets Them Kicked Off Plane

A family was asked to leave the plane after harsh complaints surfaced.

According to reports, a family traveling to Detroit were escorted off a plane in Florida after the airline received complaints about the way they smelled.

"All of a sudden, as soon as they took us off, they closed the gate and then said, 'Sorry, sir, some people complained you had body odor and we're not letting you back on,'" passenger Yossi Adler said of his experience with American Airlines. He was traveling with his wife, Jennie, and their 19-month-old daughter back home to Detroit from Miami last week.

The family insisted they did not smell, and they demand to know the real reason they were kicked off the plane.

The Adlers said they were told their luggage would be removed from the plane as well, but that was not the case. All they had left with them was the clothing they were wearing.

American Airlines said the following in a statement: "Mr. Adler and his wife were removed from the flight when several passengers complained about their body odor. They have been booked into a hotel for the night and given meal vouchers. They have been rebooked on a flight Thursday."
