The Toys R Us brand is returning only for the holidays in Kroger stores, USA TODAY reports.
It was a sad but historic time earlier this year when Toys R Us closed its doors here in the Twin Cities. Lifelong customers walked through the stores one last time for nostalgia only to come across an eery vibe with picked-through stock on markdown.
Here's the other bad news for us, Twin Cities: the nearest Kroger store, PNS, is in Wisconsin.
Perhaps you're reading this from a state that does have a Kroger store (find a store locator here), or you have friends and family that do. If so, you can find a mix of 35 toys exclusive to the Toys R Us brand in Geoffrey's Toy Box at Kroger stores this season.
Going shopping on Thanksgiving? These Minnesota stores will be closed on that day.
