Two casualties have been confirmed and a third crew member is receiving medical treatment after a North Memorial Air Care helicopter crashed near Brainerd early Friday morning.
According to KARE 11, the accident happened at around 1 a.m. A spokesperson confirms no patients were on board when the crash happened, but the pilot and a nurse died at the scene.
An airport employee says conditions were "extremely foggy" at the time of the accident.
