Michael Bolton Fell Asleep on LIVE TV?

Michael Bolton appears to have fallen asleep during a live television interview, but he says it's fake news.

The singer appeared on Australia's The Morning Show via satellite to celebrate his catalog, A Symphony of Hits. Right when the interview started, Bolton appeared to be asleep as the hosts called his name several times.

"Michael, you got us okay?" co-host Larry Emdur asked.

"Hi Michael, it's Kylie and Larry, we're with you live," said co-host Kylie Gillies.

Bolton opened his eyes and said, "It's gone silent."

Later laughing off the incident, Bolton tweeted, "I got my first record deal when I was 15 and I haven't slept since!! In all seriousness there were technical issues with the live feed and they caught me tweeting!"

If he really did fall asleep, he's not the first one to have fallen asleep on live TV. Morgan Freeman fell asleep during a live interview with a station in 2013, and Harry Belafonte fell asleep during an interview in 2011, E! News reports.

Do you think Michael Bolton fell asleep, or is he telling the truth about tweeting? I'll try to give him the benefit of the doubt, but honestly I think it would be hilarious if he was actually sleeping.
