Jayme Closs' accused kidnapper reveals he tried to kidnap the teen twice before he actually did it.
After first spotting Jayme getting on a school bus on his way to work at a cheese factory, Jake Patterson said he visited the house twice prior to the October 15 incident to try to kidnap her, the criminal complaint states (via CNN).
The week before, he drove to the home but was scared off because of the cars in the driveway. He told investigators that a day or two later, he returned but was scared off by lights on in the house and people walking around.
