Amazon Alexa has a new look that screams avocado toast and locally brewed coffee.
Technically it's not actually the Amazon Echo, but Cavalier has a new speaker that allows you to use the Alexa Voice Service via wifi connection. "The Maverick" reminds me of a new-but-vintage-looking turntable you'd find at Urban Outfitters with its leather and twill aesthetic. It looks really nice, but it's completely hipster.
Amazon Echo goes for around $150 or less, depending on the generation. The Maverick runs for around $300.
This "hipster Alexa" popped up in my news feed and I just thought music nerds would love this. Would you get this, or is the look totally not worth that price?
