If you don't already know, sometime in Elsie's first year I decided I was going to make birthday videos for my kids every year. I "premiere" it for them and family/friends on their birthday. Pics and videos set to a song that was a part of that year.
I was inspired by a Dad who keeps a journal all year and then puts the finishing touches on it each year on his daughter's birthday.......he'll eventually give that journal to her, maybe at 18 or something. I wanted to do something like that. I figure these videos are the new photo album.
I only hope she enjoys looking back on them as much as I enjoy them right now.
Elsie's 5th year on the planet was definitely a Mamma Mia kind of year..............
