St. Catherine University The Catherine G. Murphy Gallery at St. Catherine University presents First Thought, Best Thought: Paintings by Greg Dickerson & Gregory Fitz, on view April 8th to May 21st. Minnesota Zoo Since 1970, half of the world’s wildlife has been lost. You can help save wildlife by attending AZUL’s Wild Night gala. Funds raised will support the Minnesota Zoo’s local and international conservation efforts. Wild Night is Saturday, June 3rd in Minneapolis and features cocktails and animal encounters, a unique-to-the-zoo silent auction, DJ and dancing, and much more. The Kurt B. Seydow Dystonia Foundation Dystonia is the third most common movement disorder behind tremor and Parkinson’s disease. Join The Kurt B. Seydow Dystonia Foundation at their second annual “Kites2Kure” Dystonia event on Sunday, June 4th at Boom Island Park from noon to 3PM. The event is free and open to the public. All money raised goes towards Dystonia research with the University of Minnesota Neurology Department. Camp Odayin Medtronic presents the 16th annual Whole Heart Golf & Tennis Tournament on Monday, June 12th at the Dellwood Country Club. All proceeds support Camp Odayin’s life changing camp experiences for young people with heart disease. Register for a four person scramble with fun field events and contests plus tennis or simply enjoy dinner and live music. River Valley Riders Join River Valley Riders on June 24th  at Lake Elmo Park Reserve for an 8 mile horseback ride or 3 mile walk/wheel. Registration/breakfast 8:30-9:30 for Horseback Riders with a 10am start. St. Jude The 7th Annual Minnesota Cruisin' Motorcycle Ride on Saturday, July 15th begins in White Bear Lake, with children's activities, a corn hole tournament and other FUNdraising opportunities all day! The goal is to raise awareness and money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital who leads the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. No family is ever asked to pay for medical treatment or other expenses while their child is at St. Jude. The University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center Chainbreaker is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism. Join them August 11th to the 13th, you can help raise funds for lifesaving cancer research at the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center and Masonic Children's Hospital. Camp Odayin The Heart & Sole a 2.5k walk / 5k run is presented by Boston Scientific at Como Lake on Saturday, September 23rd. All proceeds support Camp Odayin’s life changing camp experiences for young people with heart disease. The tie dye themed event is complete with a tie dye station and kids activities. You’ll get a long sleeved event T-shirt. Day of registration also available, but t-shirts are only for those who register by September 8th. Walk-In Counseling Center Many people face emotional challenges and need mental health services but, even with healthcare reform, services are not always accessible.
